Day one: reserved for partners’ arrival.
Day two: 7th Sept, on the second day of the meeting, Skribonauti had welcomed the partners and introduced the agenda of the meeting and the participants. We also briefly introduced the city of Zagreb and elaborated more on the work of Skribonauti in prison system. After that, all the partners had their contribution in sharing what is their current work in prison systems within their countries.
Day three: 8th Sept, the meeting started with working on the handbook that will be published at the end of this project, and it was led by the Spanish team. After that, we got introduced with some parts of the prison system in Italy, particularly with the work of the guarantor of the prisoners’ rights which was presented to us by Giovanni Villari and Assunta Tirri. Following was the introduction into the work of NGO’s working in prison in Croatia, especially the work of organization RODA.
Day four: 9th Sept, on the fourth day, we have concluded the work on the handbook and the narrative details of it and had conversation with art workshops facilitators working with Skribonauti. The work was presented by the artists Helena Janečić, Dina Karadžić and Nina Klarić. They talked about their work with inmates in Prison iz Zagreb (Remetinec) and how they conducted their comic book and animation workshops.
Day five: 10th Sept, on the fifth day of the meeting, we discussed financial aspect of the project and discussed some details about the project’s web site. We have also discussed the end results of the work on the handbook during the meeting in Zagreb and the Spanish team introduced to us the Tenerife meeting that is following in December of 2023.
Day six and seven: 11th and 12th, cultural visits of Plitvička jezera and Rijeka and Kostrena.
Day eight: 13th of Sept, departure day.
