Exhibition of autobiographical portraits by female prison Ig, Slovenia

An exhibition of portraits made by female prisoners has taken place at Ig market in June 2023. They presented their life through the portraits which were done under autobiographical method.The portraits were created from discarded jewellery as part of occupational therapy in the Ig women’s prison. Each picture was accompanied by a personal note of the female prisoners, where they wrote autobiographical stories and the meaning of the portraits.
